Who the SUV Limousine Suits

The SUV limousine is our largest limousine: the vehicle for a big group that wants to travel together and make a night of it.

Games and concerts

With our game and concert transportation, the group gets curb pickup and drop-off at Lumen Field, Climate Pledge Arena and T-Mobile Park and skips the parking search. Tell us the event, the start time and when you want to be collected afterward.

Bachelor and bachelorette parties, nights out

Evenings with several stops work best through hourly chauffeur service: booked by the hour with no fixed itinerary, the plan can change as the night goes on. Stops can be anywhere in our service area, including our regular routes to Bellevue and Kirkland.

Comfort in Practice

Fourteen passengers is the maximum, and at 14 the cabin is full. A group a few people short of that has room to spread out and to get in and out easily. The raised roofline adds headroom, which helps in a long cabin.

The cabin has bar seating. What is provided on board, and what your group may bring, is something to confirm with the reservations team when you book.

Luggage space is not what the SUV limousine is chosen for. If the group is carrying bags, tell us how many, or compare the Executive Sprinter Van, which is listed for luggage capacity.

How It Compares With the Rest of the Fleet

  • Stretch Limousine, up to 10: leather seating, mood lighting and a privacy divider, the more formal choice for weddings, proms and anniversaries.
  • Executive Sprinter Van, up to 12: conference-style seating and luggage capacity, for corporate groups, wine tours and transfers.
  • Luxury Party Bus, up to 30: dance floor, sound system and full bar seating, for groups too big for the SUV limousine.
  • Executive Sedan, up to 3, for airport and business travel.

The party bus differs in law, too: a vehicle whose interior lets passengers stand and circulate is a party bus under RCW 81.70.020, regulated by the Utilities and Transportation Commission rather than licensed as a limousine.

How Washington Classifies a Stretch SUV

Washington’s limousine rules, WAC 308-83-010, list the stretch sport utility vehicle as its own category: an SUV seating four to 14 passengers behind the driver, with a wheelbase of no more than 325 inches that has been lengthened beyond the manufacturer’s specification and meets U.S. Department of Transportation standards. Like a stretch limousine, it must have nonstandard amenities in the rear. An SUV that has not been lengthened and seats three to six is a separate category, the executive SUV.

Limousines are licensed by the Department of Licensing under chapter 46.72A RCW, and chauffeurs need a background check, random drug testing and a defensive driving course. You can check a carrier with the DOL license lookup.
