Prestigious Limousine started with a single town car and a promise: show up early, drive smoothly, and treat every client like the only client. Two decades later that promise hasn’t changed, even as the fleet has grown to cover weddings, corporate accounts, and everything in between.
We operate as a licensed limousine carrier in Washington, where limousine companies are licensed by the Department of Licensing, and every chauffeur completes background screening and defensive-driving training before their first shift.
Licensing and Insurance

- Sedans, stretch limousines, stretch SUVs and executive vans: the Department of Licensing. Party buses: the Utilities and Transportation Commission.
- Insurance
- Commercial liability coverage on every vehicle. Washington requires limousine carriers to file at least $1,050,000 combined single-limit coverage with DOL.
Who Drives for Us
Our chauffeurs live in the neighborhoods we serve and plan around Seattle’s traffic and ferry schedules. They know which entrance a hotel uses for car pickups, where a wedding venue wants vehicles to wait, and how long the drive from the Eastside really takes at five o’clock.
Washington sets a clear bar for anyone who drives a limousine for hire, and the Department of Licensing keeps proof on file for each chauffeur a carrier employs:
- at least 21 years of age;
- a valid Washington driver license and a satisfactory driving record;
- a background check performed by the Washington State Patrol;
- a medical certificate of fitness, renewed every two years;
- an initial drug test and participation in a random drug-testing program;
- completion of the National Safety Council defensive driving course.
On top of that, every chauffeur is trained in Seattle traffic and in event logistics before they drive a wedding, a prom or a game night.
How We Keep the Fleet
Every vehicle in the fleet is late-model, detailed before each trip, and maintained on a strict service schedule. Five vehicles cover the range of trips we run: the Executive Sedan for airport and business travel, the Stretch Limousine and SUV Limousine for celebrations, the Executive Sprinter Van for working groups and tours, and the party bus for the largest parties.
Each limousine carries its own Washington vehicle certificate, renewed with the carrier license every year.
