Everett has a commercial airport of its own. Seattle Paine Field International, owned by Snohomish County, has a passenger terminal at 3300 100th Street SW; SR 526 runs from I-5 past the airfield and the Boeing factory. Its destinations page lists Alaska Airlines nonstops to Honolulu, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orange County, Palm Springs, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego and San Francisco, plus Frontier service to Denver. For everything else, the airport is SEA: typically 45 to 65 minutes outside peak hours. Southbound I-5 is the direct line to SR 518; the alternate follows I-5 to Lynnwood and I-405 south through Bothell and Bellevue. Mornings need a real cushion. WSDOT’s commute data put the morning peak from Everett to downtown Seattle at about 50 minutes on average, against 24 minutes at the posted speed; to arrive on time 19 days out of 20, WSDOT says to allow 79.

Downtown Everett’s largest room is Angel of the Winds Arena at 2000 Hewitt Avenue: up to 10,000 seats, home of the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League, with concerts, family shows and the Edward D. Hansen Conference Center in the same complex. Everett Station, at 3201 Smith Avenue, is the stop for Sounder N Line trains, Amtrak Cascades and regional buses, a practical meeting point if part of your group arrives by rail.

Everett’s tourism office also lists Floral Hall at Forest Park on E. Mukilteo Boulevard, Legion Hall in Legion Memorial Park and the Monte Event Space in the historic Monte Cristo building on Wall Street. Boeing Future of Flight, at 8415 Paine Field Boulevard in Mukilteo, is where the Boeing Everett Factory Tour starts. Visitors must be at least 48 inches tall and should arrive 30 minutes before tour time; groups buying 15 or more tickets arrange them through Future of Flight customer service.
